Disappointment

I purchased this microwave on Dec 26th, confident that being a GE product, I would be satisfied. You could hardly read the features because there was not enough lighting. Within in a couple of days, there was a loud humming noise. A few more days, there was more subtle, more regular noises. Then it was not heating. I returned in on Jan 11th for a different brand. No problem since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small in footprint and exactly why we chose this particular model. Had to adjust down to 950 watts from 1100 but size was the problem. Very user friendly thus far.

It has features to remind you that you didn't take something out when it was finished or if you press start and you haven't put your dish in. Like the beverage warmer.
