Way better than our 30-year-old one!

Our microwave died and we needed a new one quickly. This one is fantastic! It's still quite new, but I am already in love with it. I particularly appreciate the one-button function to get 30-second increments, or to get 1 minute, or 2 minutes. Those are the times I use most frequently. Auto-defrost by weight works quite well. I also like that it provides reminder beeps if I forget to take out my food. I am really, really happy with this purchase!

I am surprised at how satisfied we are with this microwave since it was so inexpensive. My only complaint is that is seems smaller than the stated size.

Not a great purchase- Surprised by GE

I’m very surprised by GE with this microwave. It was purchased in October of 2019 and used roughly 2-3 times per day. However, it stopped working a little over a year and a half, after it was purchased.
I trying to have it serviced but I’ve been having difficulties with the service platform.
Not sure what’s going on with GR but they’re definitely losing their ground as the premier brand, from my perspective.
I’ll keep you posted if they ever got around to assisting me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! Thanks for sharing your feedback. Your JES1145SHSS microwave has a one year warranty from original date of purchase. If within this one year timeframe you would return it to the original dealer with a sales receipt for exchange of the product. If outside of that one year warranty period, it's not cost effective to repair and we would suggest replacement.
