I bought this unit about a month ago. I am not pleased with the quality at all. It is extremely noisy and the glass platter inside the unit rattles and skips.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for our summer home after many years of saying we didn't need one @ the beach. Since we only did it to accommodate some renters, the price was appealing and its function just fine!

We were replacing a 30-year-old GE microwave which failed when my wife thought she was setting the timer for a long period and instead had the power on until it blew (more than the fuse). This new one is very similar and we expect it to have a similarly long life! The only drawback: it often starts very noisy before it settles down after a 5-10 seconds.
I would recommend this to a friend!
