Heats food quickly and evenly. Great value for the price. It is a little on the loud side to run and open and close the door, but I’ve noticed that with some other microwaves as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The microwave is making a very loud noise while running. It’s kind of bothering our hearing.

I trust the GE quality with my numerous appliances in my home. The style of this microwave is classic and impressive. It fits perfect under my counter in my kitchen and has a useful variety of features that fit the needs of myself and my family.

Lack of clear instructions

Previous GE microwave included a BOOK of clear instructions and the push pad was easy to read. This pad is dark and I need a flashlight to use it. The instructions list "reheat" as an option. There is no such "button" on this appliance. So: poor design of push pad, poor instructions. This equals frustration every time I use it. BTW, this was a Christmas gift.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
