Hot but loud

We bought this product several weeks ago and it heats food efficiently. It is very loud in operation and it retains food odors much longer than our old GE microwave.
We bought this model as it is the only GE that fits in the microwave cubby. Also the words on the control panel are very hard to read.

Great Basic & Convenient Features

It has performed well and does exactly what it was supposed to do. I am satisfied with its overall performance from this easy to operate microwave. The only suggestion I have to make it better is the missing reminder from its alarm, as its alarm only sounds 5 times without further warning when cooking is done. If you miss hearing the sound, the food could be kept inside the microwave until the next time the door is opened. This was the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
