I love this microwave! The only problem is the touch pad is hard to read. I thought there was a film over it but I can't get it off.

We moved from an apartment with a large microwave to a house without one. We bought this one because it was similar power and in budget, if a little smaller. We were pleasantly surprised how well it heats our food--better than the one we were using. The smaller space isn't a problem, we've found, and it may even help the heating be more even. We're glad to have a smaller but powerful appliance.
The only difficulty is finding the right touch button for setting the kitchen timer (used more often than the one on the range because it counts seconds) and the power adjustment level; we won't be using most of the other various settings above the number pad, just Power and Kitchen Timer, but they're a little crowded, so we're always leaning over and squinting at it to make sure we're hitting the right button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good quality. Exception: the oven door does not seem to close tightly at the top. I am concerned about that, because it may be exposing me to microwaves escaping from the oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When purchasing we could not find the right size for under our counter then we came across this GE Microwave - once reading the review and the size plug a great price. We could not go wrong. And it's been performing to the reviews. Plus fitted perfect under our count.
