Does the job

Bought this about a month ago. It does the job. We mainly defrost and make popcorn. The keypad is not backlit and therefore drives us nuts at night when we can't see which buttons we are pressing. For us, that is the biggest drawback. If we had to do it all over again, we would purchase one with an illuminated keypad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to replace one that was ruined by a low voltage problem. The previous one was a GE and I liked it. This one has more features and is EXTREMELY quiet! I'm very happy with it!

Great panel layout

1st one developed a problem after 1 1/2 months. Control panel was erratic; sometimes jumping time while heating; other times "food" and a buzz would come up when setting cook time and heat.
Side suggestion: It would be really nice if the control panel was back lit so you could see the settings easier.
The above rating is for this defective unit only... It has been replaced by an identical unit that works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
