Not as powerful as our last microwave from GE, but I believe it is slightly smaller as well. Upping the total cook time a bit seems to compensate for the lower power.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek and Quiet

This is a good microwave. It's quiet and sleek. Easy to wipe away messes. Old microwave sounded like a chainsaw; this microwave is quiet so when I walk away from it, I forget that it's in use until I hear the beep. One complaint that I have is that the buttons do not light up, so if the room does not have enough lighting, you'll be squinting to see what buttons you are trying to use.

This microwave works well and is quiet

This unit is more complex than the previous similar G E Microwave. The older unit had a simple door opening, simple defrosting and simpler time setting. And like other new pieces of household equipment recently acquired, new equipment is built less robust.

This microwave has been working great. We use it everyday and it has been working well since we got it. The GE brand has been used by our family for many years. I give it 5 stars and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
