Don’t see an upgrade

Comparing with my 15-year old model this was a disappointment. It doesn’t have the wow effect considering it’s newer technology. Bottom line: I liked more the old model overall in terms of quality, functionality and ease of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ideal for me

This microwave met or exceeded all of my expectations. I was honestly just looking for a microwave to replace my old one (9 years old) and that did not have any new features I had to learn. It also had to be the same size. This one was ideal for such. Thank you.

There is no backlight on the keypad and the numbers are hard to read. So, we have to turn on the kitchen lights to operate this microwave.

Microwave control panels are not generally backlit, which means that the lettering on the keypads do not have lighting behind them. The lettering cannot be changed or made brighter.
