Unit non-functional right out of box

When we plug in the unit, the turntable immediately starts spinning and never stops no matter what you do. The control panel is inoperative except you can set the time on the clock - and you can lock the controls, but nothing else works, so a useless broken appliance right out of the box.

This microwave stopped working after 3 months. I am disappointed by the life of this unit and makes me question buying GE in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
