Nice little microwave

Nice little microwave so far. I’ve only had it 2 days and the 2 things I noticed is that the latch to open is hard and it’s a little loud upon starting. Again I’ve only used to warm up food and it’s been fine for that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Time cooking is not simple. Can not set right time from the number pad for example if I want to cook 1 minute and 30 seconds it doesn’t give the option at pin pad.

Hello,
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve had trouble using the time cooking feature of your new microwave. Being able to set a custom time can be important for a wide variety of meals, and we want to help. To set a time cook on this model, follow these steps:
1. Press “Time Cook”
2. Enter your cooking time (this can be from 1 second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds)
3. Power level is automatically set to 10, but if you want to reduce it, press “Power” then select a level from 0 to 9.
4. Press “Start/+30 sec.”
If you need to open the door during the timed cooking to check food, you can resume cooking by pressing “Start/+30 sec.” again.

Manufacturing problem?

After having this microwave for two weeks, it literally just stopped working. No problems with the power source. When I took it back to Lowe’s, there were two other same type and brand microwaves that had also been returned the same day. I purchased another microwave of a different brand, and have not had any problems with it. Normally, GE is a very reliable brand, but something went wrong this time.

Good replacement of old to new GE microwave

Bought this to replace a very old GE microwave. Works well. Our old microwave was white and the numbers on the pad were easier to read. Otherwise we are pleased with our purchase.
