Sturdy, lots of features

This microwave oven replaces a 23 year old oven. Many more features, so, some learning to do. Like the styling design and the turntable. Having a little trouble reading the front menu. I need to put a bright light on to accurately place my order.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 10 months of every day use, we are very happy with this microwave.
Simple, touch pads very easy to manipulate and always giving good results.
The 30 seconds option is so useful ! We love this microwave and we recommend
it very much !

Bought this for a kitchen remodel - no longer wanted the over the cooking surface one. It is currently in our "kitchenette" (former half bath before our remodel started) and is serving us well with reheating drinks and meals as well as cooking some meals. VERY happy with this product!

Great power and size is ideal

After 3 days of operation, there seems to be only one drawback so far & that is the dark panel for cooking selections. I was able to see the panel more easily on my older model (white) GE microwave. I like the idea of a Kitchen Timer on this model. I'm sure I'll use that regularly.

Easy to install, modern looking microwave. The best feature is the heating/cooking speed. I can do without the End beeps to remind one to remove the item after it is done. Thanks GE for another great and affordable product.

Reasonably Good Buy

This seemed the best choice among numerous alternatives on the display shelf. The stainless steel finish is attractive, with low maintenance. The information on the control panel would be easier to read if it were white, instead of grey lettering, on a black background. The pushbar release for the door is difficult for a person with arthritic hands to use. A handle would be more convenient.
Timed settings are easy to set. The 30-sec option on the Start button is convenient.
It is taking some trial and error to learn the required heating times with various foods and containers, after developing a 35-year habit with the old microwave oven. The rule of thumb is "Try less time first."
I would recommend this to a friend!
