I don’t like the fact that it’s only 95 watts! Using it I have to double the time because of the recipe calls for 1100 watts! Not impressed at all!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it! I decided to buy this brand because I heard that GE Microwaves were rated higher than other brands. I also got an awesome price on it when I purchased it. The only thing I was not happy with was the Warranty is only good for 1 year but when I was researching other brands I discovered that's the case with all the other companies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My rating is based on a teeny sample of 2 weeks use. It is still new. These reviews would be more helpful if the review were repeated at the 1 year, 3 year, & 5 year milestones & longer milestones.
The unit met my expectations for size, power, and functionality. I do appreciate periodic tone after using the unit to remind me that I had heated something, and had not retrieved it.

Packaging & Engineering Concerns

The blue protective plastic wrapper cannot be removed in totality. There are small pieces, which are visible, in some of the seams. This needs to be corrected prior to packaging so that the customer is easily able to remove the wrapper. The three-pronged plug has the prongs facing the wrong way when plugging in on a wall outlet. This forces the wire to extend further out from behind the unit. This is aesthetically unappealing and causes unnecessary wire exposure. I am not able to comment on the functionality as we have not placed the unit in operation.

decent microwave, too bad they only last 2 years on average. would be nice if it was cheaper.
