I too can't understand why this GE microwave got decent reviews. It's junk! After 6 months it no longer heated. The turntable noise level gradually worsened each month. The control panel was difficult to see. It let me down on a busy holiday weekend when I really needed a microwave.

Right out of the box it is a very welcome and excellent looking appliance sitting on the kitchen counter. Open the box, plug it in, register the product, cook popcorn, and cant wait to reheat last nights dinner for a snack tonight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Standard microwave that works well

We really like this model of microwave oven. It is the right size for our kitchen counter. It has all the features for our needs plus many others we probably won't use. This is the second micro wave of the same model for us so we are familiar with it's features and size. On a down side note, the previous one we had basically wore out after about 5 years. I don't know what the expected life is but for the price it was worth it as we were glad to purchase another one to replace the old one.
