We needed a short term replacement microwave oven and this was on sale. Its newer and better than the old one, and works well.

Bad control screen.

It functions well as a microwave. However, the control panel is dark with very muted numbers and words without backlighting.
It is very difficult to read without extra lighting. Even then I have to orient myself directly in front of the control screen to make sure that I'm hitting the right button.
Disclaimer: I have 20/20 vision and can't read the control screen on my microwave.

This is my second GE microwave that I have purchased with the previous one lasting over seven years. The size is perfect plus it has all the features that you need. Not to mention that the price is affordable.
