GE has been making this model since 2019 and they still can't get it right. First, everyone complains about the keypad. Gray on darker gray on black is impossible to read in low light. Second, the turntable turns super fast and is so jerky that full bowls of liquids spill all over. Other than that it's a nice looking appliance. It was returned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this product for a second time after 8 years. I like it because it doesn’t take too much space in my kitchen and it’s also durable.

It heats great, and and I love the settings that are automatic. I do not like the smudges on the stainless steel. It’s constantly needing to be wiped down. Had no idea it was going to be a beautiful color of aqua. Glad it didn’t matter the picture on the front made it appear as though it was going to be stainless, I’ve never had a stainless appliance. I won’t have one again.

Good small microwave

I replaced a much larger unit from another manufacturer with this smaller GE unit. It fits well on my countertop. The buttons are a little hard to push but, aside from that it works well and does what I need it to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great small microwave

Had this GE 1.1CU microwave (Mod. JES1145SH1SS) since April 2024. It is a replacement for another larger GE I've had for almost 25 years. I do not do any serious cooking in the microwave, its mostly for re-heating and popping corn, cooking veggies. It has been operating well.
