door latch is responsive

I tried the handles and buttons on many other microwaves in the store. This style has a latch that was responsive and the unit didn't move when I pressed the release pad. Several latches were difficult or the unit moved. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment. I also have a GE cooktop that is awesome.

My GE microwave for many years served me well until the button to open the door messed up. I am now purchasing another GE which seems to be great in Design..Looks wonderful.. I've only had it for a day so I cannot rate its performance to the fullest.. But so far so good enjoying it.

We hope you will try this feature – it is one of my personal favorites! It cooks potatoes to perfection and takes the guesswork out of cooking. The Express Cook features allow you to choose one to six minutes with the press of only one pad, 1-6, allowing quick heat up. We appreciate your business and know you will love your new model.

Nice unit for the price. It makes a strange hum when running that I’m used to hearing from a microwave, though. But, it’s working well for us.
