Substandard interface

I bought this appliance failing to realize that the interface is poorly design for low light conditions. The contrast between the digits and the background is low requiring me to turn bright lights on just to heat water or reheat various foods. A secondary disappointment is that this unit is considerably louder then my previous stand alone microwave and all previous microwaves. As I've retained two of my previous microwaves units I've been able to compare the level of noise each produces compared to my new GE unit and each produces a significantly less noise. And thirdly I was disappointed in the quality control as there were two distinct and noticeable defects. The unit does seat evenly on the 4 feet one of which does not make contact with the surface the unit is seated on forcing me to put a space underneath to prevent rocking. And on one side there is a noticeable indentation/concave bend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this to replace a broken microwave. This one is not as powerful. But, it was great. Like the dinner plate control button to warm my meal.
Two issues are 1. when opening the microwave pushing on the button the door is a bit noisey. 2. control panel is not lite.

Goes well with the rest of my stainless steel appliances. I particular don't like the door handle nor the push button to open door. Would have preferred it to be all digital.

Already having problems

The microwave turntable is making strange noises and I can’t tell if it’s even moving because the interior light doesn’t stay on during cooking time.
