Disappointing keypad & operation

Very disappointed with this unit. The keypad works most of the time, but also fails part of the time. The door is light and opens & closes with a loud hollow (tinny) sound. Our previous GE microwave was very satisfactory and simply stopped working one day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Touch Pad and Moisture Problems

This is the second GE microwave of this model that we have had within the past few months.
The plastic on the touch pad on the first unit began to peel off within
about 2 months, and moisture began forming between the glass panels on the door when I cooked something in the microwave for about 25 minutes (the moisture eventually dissipated). The store was willing to exchange it. We got the same unit again only because we could not find a nicer microwave in the store in the size that we needed to fit on the kitchen cabinet shelf. We have had the second microwave for less than 6 weeks now, and I recently noticed moisture forming again when I cooked something in the microwave for 25 minutes (the moisture did eventually dissipate). I have had 2 other microwaves in my lifetime, each one lasting many, many years without any problems. I am very disappointed with this GE model. I will be contacting GE regarding the moisture forming between the glass door panels. I am very concerned that this will caused problems over time.

Good fit for a tight space

This microwave fits in a space that generally only the smallest, lowest-powered units fit into, yet has a bigger turntable and more power, so I'm very happy with the design and value in that respect, as well as with the overall performance of this microwave.

Do not buy this microwave

Purchased this unit several months ago and immediately the covering over the numbers on the control panel started raising up and wearing off so you could not read the numbers. We returned it to the store and they replaced it. However, the new unit did the same thing! Also, when the turn table revolves, there is a terrible loud noise!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
