My only complaint is that the control panel began bubbling immediately. It looks like there is a protective coating that is coming off but there isn't.

Great looking and working microwave

So far so good! Much quieter buttons and beeps for once! Only thing I would change is it needs a clock/time display.

We just hooked the microwave up today. It is much smaller than our previous unit. Seems like you have to press kind of hard to get the door to open. Hoping this unit will last a long time for us. Our previous GE models (much more expensive ones) have only lasted 3-4 years. With update at some point about our experience with this model.

Cooks well; looks great

I really like this microwave, because it good well, quickly, and more evenly than others I have owned. It also looks very nice in stainless steel, which turns out to be easy to clean with a sponge. The only thing I would change would be to be able to input cooking times like 1:45 without having to first touch "time cook," then the minutes and seconds, then "time cook" again. Because touching "1" (or 2--6) immediately starts the oven cooking for 1 minute (or 2-6 minutes), you can't then continue to add seconds (other than the +30 sec button). Because the buttons like "time cook" are difficult to read without my reading glasses, I find this a slight inconvenience. Still would recommend it to friends, because it is a very good performer at a reasonable price.

Nice looking and heats up food great.

Bought this one as my son broke the glass dish and the plastic bars that make it spin when he threw frozen meat in the microwave, so got me another GE since I really Loved my other one. Touch pad not as easy as the last one, but this one defrost faster it seemed, cooks evenly too and best part is its new and shinny clean, it looks great in my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!
