Great, and easy to use!

I love Turbo Tax and have used it for years. It's easy to use and understand. I like doing my own taxes so I can try different filing options to see what works to my benefit. Although Turbo Tax recommendations have never been wrong, I usually test them.
What's great about it: Clear and to the point instructions. Don't have to be a Tax Expert to understand!
What's not so great: Sometimes, when you select something to try, it doesn't want to NOT take it when you change your mind. But, got it done.

easy to use

Tried Turbo tax last year for the first time after years of going to a tax accountant. Needless to say, it saved me several dollars. Was easy to follow, and I was able to file for a fraction of the cost!
What's great about it: walked me through all the steps!

Was okay I guess, said I had an error but form didn't have access to input data it said I was missing. Program didn't ask or give an area to input taxes paid on items purchased throughout the year. This was still rather lengthy to complete, there are other deductions I'm sure are allowed but this program only "illustrates" typical deductions. Some info gathered seems to be only gathered to send to those info collection departments watching the little guy.
What's great about it: completed in my home
What's not so great: Still very cumbersome
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is my 7th year using Turbo Tax. Why spend money with an accountant when I can do it myself with Turbo Tax! Thank you TT for making tax time relatively painless.
What's great about it: step by step instructions, ease of use.
What's not so great: waiting for the AZ tax forms to load

Just one issue

In this and all the previous versions of the program I have to go back to correct information or add something that I forgot and the form does not look exactly as the first time. I had to do a revision on form 8863 and when I went back the help or guide me section where it told me where to look for the information was no longer showing.
What's great about it: A caveman, like my self, can do his own taxes.
What's not so great: forms do not fully reset when going back.
