I've been using Intuit software for years. I can always rely on Turbo Tax. I would never consider using another software.

This product seems to be getting easier to use and understand each year. The challenge is going to be to keep up with the changing tax(ing) environment.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and understand. Great links to info sources.
What's not so great: A tedious process by the nature of filing a tax return

Filing more than one return

I did our return plus my aging mothers return who now lives with us. I could not access both returns, had to redo hers all over again. Not cool.
What's great about it: Easy question guidance.
What's not so great: Not able to come back to more than one return.

Back with Turbo Tax again

Used TurboTax and then tried accountant for a couple of years. Back to TurboTax two years running now with higher refunds and less costs. Great way to go!!!
What's great about it: Max refund
What's not so great: Lots of strange deductions to think about

Fan of Turbo Tax

Overall - I love this product and have used it for years and years. Recommend it to my friends. There are a few parts of the process where the info/help boxes are still more legalese than plain English, but other than that, the product is the only way I make it through tax season!
What's great about it: Love being taken step by step through each part of the paperwork
What's not so great: Some of the questions are not explained as simply or plainly as I'd prefer

Consistently accurate and easy

Turbotax has been my software in shining armor since 2001!
What's great about it: Easy interface, real world explanations, links to IRS publications
What's not so great: none of any consequence - only probs were due to user error

I've been using TurboTax for five years now and it has been very convenient. There are two things I'd like to see changed. When I click into the wrong section or make the wrong selection it is sometimes difficult to discard the errors and I have to go into the forms to manually change the requested information. Next to the back button I would like to see a discard button that removes the last selection and takes me back a page. Also, I don't want to give you my phone number. You have my email, that is enough. Please don't make that a requirement to e-file. I really like the Explain This pop-ups. Much better than digging in the internet for the answer. Thank you for providing a great product.
What's great about it: Simple, easy, fast, trustworthy
What's not so great: Requires phone number & hard to correct errors
