Simplifies a difficult process.
I will never attempt the tax process again without using Turbotax.

What's great about it: No Calculating. Just answer the questions. Let the software walk you through the scenarios.
What's not so great: none

It is always easy!

I do not know how long I've used TurboTax but I have always been pleased with the process, especially when collected data is used across multiple forms as necessary.
The ease in which you are guided through the steps is quite pleasing; which is very helpful when owning a business as well.
The part I do not like is some of the terminologies when prompted if I have had this or that and I don't have a clue, so I chose I did not have it. Providing some images of the forms may be helpful.
What's great about it: Step by step questions linked to all appropriate forms
What's not so great: Some terminologies are foreign

Get new addition to my computer

Not only do I not have to pay a CPA to do my taxes this year, it was also an education learning things I did not know such as the many deductions I can use!
What's great about it: Don't have to pay a CPA
What's not so great: Had to spend some time answering all the questions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The only reason I've been using TurboTax for so long is that I'm happy with the software and its reputation.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Looked at other options but Turbo Tax is far better.
What's great about it: It was very simple to file my business and personal taxes
What's not so great: Just filing taxes at all sucks

Customer Service on Final Attempt Super!

A gentleman from Houston, Texas worked with me in a complicated tax situation for almost an hour and a half. Not once was he rude or disrespectful. With assistance from supervisor(s) and working overtime (late night) he refused to stop until we were able to resolve the issue which had to do with state filing. Different answers were given to filing state taxes in two different states, including using the community forum and an earlier customer service representative. Will use TurboTax again next year.. Filing federal return was easy as long as documents were available.
What's great about it: Very friendly and helpful agent in a complicated situation
What's not so great: Previous customer service did not follow through with resolving problem.

Easy to use

Overall, I was satisfied with the product very easy to use. However, for some sections I wish there was a quicker way to get out/end the current section.

simple to use!

Love this program. I have used turbo tax for over 13 years and will continue! I am a mom of 3 and have no kind of public accountant or tax training. Anyone could use this program successfully! Try it!
What's great about it: this program is so easy to navigate. it is practically dummy proof so you can rest assure you didn't miss a thing!
