Easy

It is a long and arduous process to start your tax day out of several shoe boxes. I am also not one for early anything. Procrastination is my middle name. My wife and i were able to organize and file in a short afternoon. Very easy to navigate through the program. I will never over-pay a PA again.
What's great about it: Good questions with simple yet detailed directions. It helped to be able to "read more"
What's not so great: Nada

I was very satisfied until I started with the state return. Here it seemed all the support dropped out. No easy way to navigate the state return. I just kept starting at the beginning re-answering the same questions. I believe the programs details made it harder to follow. Not enough examples. I sent in my return with 1 error. My experience with turbo tax chiseled away my confidence. I am hoping for big improvements for next year.
What's great about it: professional, math is correct, similar format to last year
What's not so great: difficult to follow and understand some instructions, find or solve errors

Very Happy TurboTax Customer

Absolutely love Turbotax. I have always felt comfortable taking care of my own personal taxes using it, and over the last 3 years of having a small business I still feel the same. Someday I may outgrow it and need an accountant, but so far Turbotax is like sitting across from an accountant as he fills out the return.
What's great about it: Walks through even a moderately complicated personal and business return!
What's not so great: None

TurboTax does it again!

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out many years ago and have been a loyal TurboTax user ever since. Never tried any other program and have no intention of doing so. It is thorough and I like the error check process.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Fantastic Experience

It was smooth sailing until I got to my CA return. There was a bug in the program and it would not continue. I called tech support on 4-15 at 6 pm and Thurman walked me through the entire problem!!!! He was so patient and kind. I cannot thank him enough!!!!! I knew this was a bad day to file my taxes. I didn't think I would be able to reach anyone at this late date, but THURMAN to the rescue!!!! He walked me through until I e-filed!!!! This is the best customer support I have received from any company!!! Again, Thank you
What's great about it: Thurman was extremely helpful when I called tech support!!!!!~
What's not so great: Few bugs

Happy with Turbo Tax, this is my 10 year.....
What's great about it: Keeps me safe and up to date with new tax laws.
What's not so great: Can we get two free states taxes, I have to do my moms....

Do it yourself with Turbo Tax

Great program at all levels of tax preparation.
What's great about it: The year over year carryovers and comparisons withy the previous year. Also, the import features.
What's not so great: In the review section, it can get a little complicated to correct the items that need review.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
