Quick & (relatively) Painless

Used this product for years. They keep making it easier and easier. The only time I've ever been audited is when I paid an accountant!
What's great about it: easy and simple instructions
What's not so great: none found
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Checking errors

When there is a filing error need to make it easier to find problem and make correction. Had to sort through a lot of forms to find error and still not sure if I made the right change on the form.
What's great about it: Gives direction on error
What's not so great: Difficult to find error on return.

Not as scary as I thought!

I loved the program, especially since this is my first time to EVER do my own taxes. I admit that at first I was a little hesitant, but after every question, I started to relax more and more, since it's pretty basic (well, whatever I didn't understand I'd go the question box and try to find something similar to my question#, but I was impressed. It's quite nice. I always wondered about these programs #about the being audited I mean--I do not want any trouble with the IRS) and I finally tried it, and I'm glad I did, for it even shows you if you're at low or high risk & all that...thanks for making a program easy enough for people like me who are not tax return-savvy...
What's great about it: I liked that it verifies everything for you before you can go on to the next section.
What's not so great: nothing really

It is very easy, just answer the questions. If you have a question for Turbo Tax, just call them.
What's great about it: can work on it at your leisure

I've used this product for MANY years for both my business, self, and my fiance's taxes and I love it !! It's easy to use and offers lots of support!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Have to pay for state E-file

Early Concerns but Eventual Resolution

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I never found it absolutely perfect but fairly user friendly. It seems to get a little better each year but it does make a few mistakes that I have to go back and correct. This year the software picked up some erroneous information from a 1098 form which required me to fill out an "explanation statement". I joined a chat session and after 2 hours of no resolution I was transferred to a CPA. He called me on the phone and gave me a higher comfort level that it would all work out. He assured me the form was only a worksheet and would not jeopardize my return. He was very helpful. I will continue to use Turbo Tax since I see nothing better available.
What's great about it: Simple language, good instructions
What's not so great: My version (Home and business CD) had a few issues with auto-fill on some forms.
