For the first time Turbo Tax did not offer a chance to change home office square footage or details about utility usage. I don't know what assumptions it made to determine either square footage of the home office or utility usage.

Great, but...

Totally thorough & easy to wade through every possible item or topic that might apply to your situation. The one major downside is that over the years navigation has become progressively more difficult. Yes, there are a half dozen major category tabs, but there's no drop down list of items within those categories! WHY NOT? Why should you have to re-answer dozens of questions you've already answered just in order to get to an item or question you might need to change or correct? Drop down lists could easily solve this & make going back to fix or just check on an answer a simple task. This seriously needs to be addressed & improved.
What's great about it: Walks you though every possibly applicable topic
What's not so great: Navigating directly to specific topics, especially if your going back to a previous item

I have used TurboTax for three years now, nothing against the other guy, but this works better for me personally. Everything is laid out well and organized.
What's great about it: Step by step through my myriad deductions as a musician is very helpful.
What's not so great: None really

I use Turbo Tax to file my personal taxes and my wife's daycare business taxes, too. I've been using Turbo Tax for over seven years and I am sold on the product!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax keeps me on track, but I can poke around if I want
What's not so great: This year I didn't get a refund, but that is my fault!!

Clothing Donations

I like the way the detailed listing of individual donation receivers can be automatically brought over from the prior year's Turbo Tax file. However, when an entity received clothing donations in the prior year it would be nice if the Edit/Update included an easier method to access the pages with a preset value where you can list each clothing donation for the current year.
What's great about it: General ease of use but thought it was even better last year.
What's not so great: Could be easier

TurboTax Makes It Easy!

Turbo Tax makes filing easy even with multiple Schedule C forms to file. The program finds the largest deductions and gives peace of mind knowing that my taxes are done right!
What's great about it: Easy to use and gets me the best deductions!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
