Unfair refund but like Turbo Tax program

I feel that my refund should be more because I am still in poverty level, I make less then 20,000 a year. I should get more than half or 100% of taxes withheld. Its a little unfair since I'm single with no dependents you take more out of my refund??
However, I've used Turbo tax in previous years and program is very user friendly easy to download and do it myself without hiring someone else.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: refund not good
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It's Good!

Most everything transferred easily from last year, however, even though we reported a 1099-misc both years it recorded it differently this year and made me wonder if we missed it this year or double reported it last year. Other than that, TurboTax is the easiest and cheapest way for me to do my tax return on three different businesses, with three different business types.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Some elements were confusing compared to last year

closing out business questions were incomplete and needed supplemental help
What's great about it: step by step process was very good for 2013 returns
What's not so great: erasing info was not always saved in a timely manner

Good program to work on at my own speed.

It takes a while to work thru but is well worth the effort to get my taxes done at my own speed. I feel good about the question asked to get the deductions that are needed for my situation.
What's great about it: Does a really good job of walking me thru the steps.
What's not so great: It takes quite a long time even when preparation is done ahead of time.

I have used Turbo Tax Home & Business for many years for my business and personal taxes. Has not failed me yet.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to follow.
What's not so great: Sending State isnt free.

working blindly

I found this very, very frustrating. It claims I am amending my state return. I am not. I cannot see where on the forms deductions are being taken. I cannot fix forms and have the changes stay. Every time I want to fix one thing, I have to answer many questions to get where I need to go. I had to create my own categories since had I followed the program it would have overstated my mileage situation. Answers on the web had nothing to do with the questions I typed in. It was not a good experience at all.
What's great about it: you do not have to retype your name and social security number
What's not so great: cannot see what is doing on, difficult to navigate to specific places

Quick efficient tax filing software.

I love Turbo Tax. It makes filing returns a snap.
What's great about it: Brings data in from prior years.
What's not so great: You have to pay to e-file state return

This is a super easy to use program and I have used it for like five years now! LOVE IT!
What's great about it: EASE OF USE
What's not so great: Can't think of anything!
