Good product. I like using it.
-Health Insurance and Retirement Plan deductions information about IRA's and SEP's would be helpful.
-Please continue to add specific deduction information and eliminate the need to enter credit card information when filing state forms.
-Also, you may want to make the IRS schedule C forms more correlated to the interface on the step by step guide. I do my accounting to schedule C and would like to move through it that way.
-Anything that drills down into more deductions is good.

What's great about it: Step by step guidelines.
What's not so great: Occasional lapses in continuity of steps as relates to forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I wasn't that impressed with Turbo Tax this year. The information on RRB-1099 R wasn't even included and I had to sub RRB-1099 for it so the boxes didn't match. It was harder to maneuver around and took me longer. The help screen wasn't that helpful and responded that nothing was found for simple things. I was disappointed.
What's great about it: tax return software
What's not so great: worst experience ever after 18 loyal turbo tax years

just fine except for e-file

finally had to print and file by mail. i had already entered my credit card info and was charged even though both returns failed to e-file. don't know if the charges will be reversed or if i will have to track down a phone number to be sure i am not charged for nothing. FRUSTRATING. I use turbo tx every year...this is the first time i had a problem..
What's great about it: everything went smoothly
What's not so great: e-file failed. asked me to download more updates which i did 3x

Been Using TurboTax for Many Years!

I've been using TurboTax since the time of the DOS application - every year. TurboTax leads me through all areas and details for filing my tax return. I totally trust TurboTax and highly recommend it. I feel this is, by far, the best software to prepare, file, and store your tax return and associated information.
What's great about it: Easy-but detailed, accurate, and thorough!
What's not so great: No Cons! TurboTax is perfect.
