Helped whittle down my amount due

I think Turbo Tax needs to take into account the "sharing" economy of individuals renting out houses, cars, tools etc. short term. This whole category of income/expenses is hard to adequately cover in the current version.
What's great about it: Handles the increasing complexity of my life
What's not so great: Turbo Tax did not clearly deal with AirBnB issues. Very confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Very helpful, especially for a late minute filer

Our home burned last year. having turbo tax from last year on the computer disc helped a lot. Most of our records were damaged or destroyed in the fire. Turbo tax was a savior because all of last years info was readily available.
What's great about it: does the calculations for you
What's not so great: Difficult to navigate back to look over previous entries.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used Turbo Tax for 15 years. I've grown up with it. Continues to improve. Infomercial aspects have lessened.
Altogether, better than an accountant.
What's great about it: Program continues to get better
What's not so great: Navigation could be better

Clean and Simple

Error correction was easy - I had to retrieve old files from a computer with a different operating system and the transfer was seamless and worked exactly as the customer service person said it would.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

Freaked out!

Never had a problem with turbo tax until this year. Ready to E-file and the error message 25300 came up! It was difficult to solve, but I finally did. Very disappointed!!

Slightly confusing

software comes back and says that value I entered from K-1 has to be 0 or larger. The number I entered was -1. this was the correct number from the line on my K-1. Then I just entered 0 into Turbo Tax. We'll seed that happens?
What's great about it: I like that software walks you through every step.

Not as good as prior years

Not as good as prior years. Too many system defects and false processing of data. Had to constantly check and recheck to be sure data was stored correctly.
What's great about it: Still good and similar to prior years
What's not so great: Many logic loops or something causing errors.
