As painless as filing taxes can be.

filing taxes is a dreary task. But with turbo tax, once I've pulled together all the info needed (we have LLC, Sole Proprietor, and personal taxes to do), the process of completing the tax return is painless and quick.
What's great about it: straight-forward, easy to use
What's not so great: no cons
Pros: I bought or sold investments

There are many requirements for business expenses that are confusing. I didn't know whether to put expenses under my incorporated business or my occupational position as a professor.
What's great about it: easy to complete most questions and forms
What's not so great: difficulty to determine where to put business income versus personal income.

NO MORE FEAR

its funny, as I worried since January that this tax filing would be a nightmare. I started an LLC last year and was not sure about my accounting.
I put off filing until the afternoon of 4-15-14 before I started. Surprised to find it took less than 2 hours to line up the documents install Turbo Tax, Home & Business (which I purchased in December!!) and file my state & Federal forms!
Even will receive a refund! Couldn't be happier...Thanks again Intuit.. BTW, I have used your products for 10 years plus. Had to add a shelf for all your software 5" floppies, 3 inch floppies, CDs and DVDs!
What's great about it: smooth, easy, great interface, never feel that I have gone to a wrong page
What's not so great: ir wouldn't allow me to cheat (just kidding)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Got IN-TU-IT & TURBO-TAXed my returns

Got serious, got IN-TU-IT and TURBO-TAxed all federal and state income tax returns in a snap. Liked it so much that I also got Auto Defend so that I can get represented just in case of an audit.
Awesome product. Have used them since 2005. First timers will learn so much and will find that it is easy and not difficult. Highly recommended. Worth every penny.

What's great about it: Streamlined point A to B in a snap without confusion and got it done.
What's not so great: State filing should be for free

Fabulous product. Second year and still happy.
What's great about it: pops ups educational and helpful
What's not so great: not clear how to import pdfs for W-2 etc; only problem was missing pages on printed version of return.

Fairly self-explanatory

I love Turbotax -have used it for years. This year our story was a bit more complicated so it was a little more challenging to get all the information accurate. It would be helpful if Turbotax could direct you where to find the information you need from previous years.
What's great about it: allows for readjusting if inputs need changing
What's not so great: can be confusing when it doesn't automatically pick up figures from previous year
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments
