What happened

This years version is not nearly as good. lousy even. I will hire someone next year. Dont think ill buy it again.

Great Program

I have used Turbo Tax for a number years and it just keeps improving. I especially like how easy it is to complete the form by answering the pertinent questions. This year it made my very small personal business income easy to report and not having to resort to Schedule C to do my very simple entries.
What's great about it: Ease to use and complete

Where are the forms????

I have used TurboTax for better than 5 years and this is my last time. 2012 was a disaster - I was just informed that I owe $8000+ penalties for things that TurboTax should have picked up. Now for 2013 I cannot get the forms that I need to submit tonight at the end of the extension, so I will have to get blank forms and fill them out by hand and submit late and incur a penalty. THIS SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!
What's not so great: I cannot file my on the extension deadline because several forms are not available!!!

I have worked with Turbotax for the past two years after my accountant retired. I am very happy with this product. They make it so easy. I am learning as I go and Turbo Tax not only gets the job done, but they educate you too. Thanks,
What's great about it: Fast and easy to understand
What's not so great: Comparing year over year is not that easy

Refund is coming

TurboTax program needs to be able to transfer prior year's donation group names and then be able to edit the names. Current version forces user to retype donation group names for current year. Would be much easier if group names could be edited for current year.

I hate taxes!

It takes way too long to do this, About 8-12 hours average. I find it very frustrating when it wouldn't let me enter state ID number as written or move on from there. Some calculations were wrong and I had no way to change them, so I just have to deal with what I got, because I am out of time. It could be more clear than it i, this year was worse than usual.
What's great about it: QUestions are thorough
What's not so great: It wouldn't let me do certain things and kept going back to them, even though I did what I could.

What's great about it: explanations and imporrting/displaying prev year info

Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
