Makes business tax a breeze!

Keeps all our business records in order, even the depreciation started in 2001 on our old cars. That's why I buy it every year. I hate hate hate tracking depreciation.
Also we got huge deductions for carryovers--and I had no idea what a carryover was before, much less how to figure it.

What's great about it: Calculates for you and keeps the figure for next year.
What's not so great: None--improves every year.

Dismayed by filing charge

I did not file my state return this year by efile because I consider the charge to be excessive. I will not in the future because the price threshold is too high.
I am also not impressed by the Quicken for Mac, which does not work with the latest Mac OS update. I will not being using Quicken in the future and will not be using, as a result, Turbotax in the future either. Intuit has made a conscious decision that it does not want me for a customer by its actions and I cannot reward the lack of consideration.
What's not so great: Cost to file

Able to do my business taxes on my own

Our family has a slightly complex tax situation (two businesses, rental property). Thanks to Turbo Tax, I am able to do our taxes and don't have to pay a professional for this service. Also, the program is very thorough (without being tedious) so I'm confident I'm getting all the deductions we are entitle to. Another great feature, Turbo Tax saves your info from the previous year, so the more you use it, the easier it gets.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions, thorough, gets easier the more you use it, able to do taxes on my own
What's not so great: Once in a while, I have a hard time finding the section I need

Dependability and User Friendly

No Headache

Each year gets better and better. Using last year's imported data, the changes for 2013 were simple to input

Use Turbo Tax every year for the last 5 years. Outstanding results for a quick easy to use tool for your taxes. You would be a fool to pay someone to do this when it is this simple

Positive experience

I've used Turbo Tax for my taxes for several years now and I have seen many improvements from when I first started. It used to be more difficult to navigate back and forth. I still find that some of the answers given to questions sometimes miss the mark such as the response to what constitutes a construction home improvement. But all in all I have been happy with the program and continue to use it.
What's great about it: All the hard work is done for me
What's not so great: Some of help answers miss the mark
