Satisfaction year after year

I have been using TurboTax for many years and have always found it easy to follow and reasonably priced. Because I have a home-based business, I use TurboTax Home and Office, perfectly suited to my needs. Working on my 2013 return, I ran into a glitch in the home office section. When I could not resolve the issue myself, I chose to call support. A wonderful rep named Candi worked with me to resolve the problem, and when she also had trouble, she called in another team member to assist. Although it took quite a bit of time, they found the solution. As a result, my refund is $300 greater. I highly recommend this program and the wonderful support team.
What's great about it: Easy to follow. User friendly. Helps me get highest refund with least hassle.
What's not so great: 2013 had a glitch in Home Office section

Love Turbo Tax

It has always been fairly easy to use. I have used it for at least 5 years. However, there was a great improvement in 2013 and now it is very easy to navigate. I had all my information available. I use quicken which helps me keep things in order so it was easy to download. I was able to complete and file within a couple of hours. Love the Quicken and Turbo Tax compatibility.
What's great about it: TurboTax 2013 was so easy to naviagate - much improved over previous years. Making corrections was so much easier.
What's not so great: There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Tax Preparation

Overall, I can't imagine completing a Tax Return without the assistance of Turbo Tax. Before using Turbo Tax I sat down with each publication from the IRS in order to enter data correctly. This was time consuming and I'm sure I missed deductions that I could have used.
What's great about it: Allows you to enter proper expenses and assets
What's not so great: Allows you to duplicate some items in different areas (must compare carefully to avoid this)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

mostly clear and easy, a few rough spots

We love the option to do our own taxes, though it always takes longer than we expect. We use the home/business and it asks great questions. However, it seems like there should be more cross checking between business use of vehicles and personal use of vehicles for job -- the potential for unintentional double dipping is strong. I want to see more warnings signs (any warnings signs!). I really liked the system for valuing non-money donations -- very helpful. At the end I came to dislike this system severely because I was trying to get our old usename/password prompts and would ask it to send to our email, but it wouldn't happen right away and by the time I got the information, it would log me out of its system. BAD BAD BAD design there.
What's great about it: clear questions, easy to navigate
What's not so great: arduous at end getting old passwords and user names; not enough warnings regarding possible double dipping

Easy Tax Prep

Turbo is the best tax preparation product on the market. I constantly improve my knowledge of tax law by using this product. I review information whether it relates to my return or not. It is extremely well organized and extremely easy to navigate.
What's great about it: Extremely well organized and very easy to work through.
