Nice and Simple

Since I enter my info for my Sch C by hand, Turbo Tax makes it very simple and easy to get all the info entered accurately.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax asks all the right questions in an order I can follow easily
What's not so great: My QuickBooks info doesn't move over smoothly every year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easiest do-it-yourself program!

I have been using Turbo Tax to file my taxes since I established my small business, and it has gotten easier to use every year. Great improvements, easy to navigate, clear, concise and straight-forward information, forms are easy to print or save to PDF, and eFiling is easy to do directly from within the program. Very convenient on many levels!
What's great about it: Clear information, easy to use, easy to navigate sections, ideal for personal or small business needs
What's not so great: Needs better hints about where to find additional information if the section requires it

Makes Life Simple

My returns are somewhat complex. TurboTax walks me through my situation quickly and easily. TurboTax saves me days of work on my return every year. All of the reference material I need is right there at my fingertips. The return analysis that TurboTax performs is invaluable to me.
What's great about it: Turbotax is quick, easy to use and understandable.

IRS PIN Snafoo

Turbo Tax seemed to want a 6 digit PIN and IRS only gave a 5 digit PIN. Maybe it was my fault, but it took several times reentering the PIN in turbo tax before my return was accepted.
What's great about it: Easy to enter information in the walkthrough process
What's not so great: Several problems with the IRS PIN

Review Feature Is Great

The ease and completeness was great even for a complex return. However, An error was done by program on 8863 line #23. I checked the edit and it was correct and even re-entered the data that effected that field and the error continued.
What's great about it: Detailed reviews were allowed in different forms: Bycategory & Tax Forms
What's not so great: Couldnt fix an error by program on 8863 on tax form.

Excellent Guidance!

Overall, my tax filing experience was pleasant, easier and quicker than I expected to complete thanks to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It was easy to follow step-by-step instructions for deductions and credits.
What's not so great: I was left referred to IRS publications in some instances, which were not user friendly in the first place.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
