I have been using TurboTax for a number of years and I would not use any other system. Even after trying one of the well known paid preparers I still filed using Turbo. I love the way you can go back and change at any time during the preparation and how your help is so easily accessible by typing in the form or topic and the program takes you right to section you want to work on or change. Your product is definitely worth the price.
What's great about it: Simple, precise, So easy even I can do it
What's not so great: It helps if you have all of your records organized and you have done your taxes before

Turbo Tax Home and Business edition

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now and I really like it. I love the way it imports all my information from prior years. I get a much bigger refund (or pay less tax) than in years when I did it myself and I don't ever feel like the return contains errors. It really helps maximize deductions, especially as I am a 1099 employee and have to deduct business expenses.
What's great about it: Prompts me to think about every situation, asks all the questions and provides answers when I'm not sure.
What's not so great: Pricey

Turbotax 2013

Unlike other years, 2013 software took a bit to get installed. Had to search for a patch. Once I found it, had no issue installing and moved on to doing my taxes.
The software seems to be getting easier and easier every year. Questions seem to make sense and flow very well with documentation at hand.
What's great about it: Easily guided me through complex tax situations
What's not so great: Had some glitches installing

Outstanding

Outstanding software. I absolutely love it. I like to do it from the comfort of my home. If I had someone do my taxes, I would spend a lot of time going back and forth because if you are like me, I would forget documentation. Since my tax preparer is at home (turbo tax), I don't have worry about that. Love you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Hard to miss a deduction. Very comprehensive software questioning

I've been using Turbotax for quite a few years - don't really remember how many:) - before that, I used to do my taxes myself and on paper manually. Getting turbo tax is a blessing!
What's great about it: clear, step by step
What's not so great: was a little difficuly printing for review before submitting.

Save the endangered erasers!

I hate taxes as much as everyone else ... but using TurboTax does make it a little bit of fun during the process and it keeps me from "taking a break" and never returning like the IRS paperwork version does! ... And it is a WHOLE LOT more accurate than I have ever been or likely will ever be! It saves on erasers and pencils for sure! I have used TT four times now and I no longer dread the thought of doing taxes.
What's great about it: TT is a fun program to use - and keeps me awake instead of putting me to sleep like the IRS forms version.
What's not so great: I appreaciate the thought that went into the help/info blurbs. It would've been nice if they were popups.
