too costly, too complicated

I used to love Turbo Tax for my tiny business but your too big for your britches now
What's great about it: It used to be easy 8 years ago
What's not so great: it keeps more and more complicated. I have had to file extensions for the last three years because of your glitches.

TurboTax Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy

This was my first time using TurboTax. It was easy, clear, concise, provided simple explanations for most entries and seemed to cover all the bases as I compared it to my previous year's tax return filed by a professional CPA. I finished in MUCH less time than I expected. It also tells you what documents you'll need. Overall-- very impressive!!!! I highly recommend!!!!
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, allowed me to go back at any time, provided clear and simple explanations
What's not so great: No cons

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

My husband has a consulting business in addition to his regular job. We also moved to a new state in 2014. Our accountant retired and this is the first year we had to do the filing ourselves. Turbo Tax was painless.
What's great about it: EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
What's not so great: HAD TROUBLE WITH STATE RETURN

Better each year

I use Quicken connected to all my accounts so filing taxes is a breeze each year with the import into Turbotax. Saves time, money, and my refunds are better than when I used an accountant because Turbotax finds more deductions.
What's great about it: easily understood questions on walk-thru interview
What's not so great: can't copy/paste home mortgage interest
