SHOW ME THE MONEY!

I've been using TurboTax for quite some time now. I love it! The software takes you through everything, step by step.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. You don't have to be a tax expert!

Turbo Tax improves every year

Turbo tax makes my taxes as easy as possible every year and always answers my questions. I end up with 15 to 20 pages each year, I can't imagine doing it on my own.
What's great about it: Walks you through all the questions that come up from business to real estate to rental income to college tuition credit
What's not so great: not free

I like that I only have to be a beginner - to software, to taxes, to accounting lingo, to edit, review and print.
What's great about it: Could add and delete expenses to see which way the refund/payments were affected
What's not so great: Couldn't easily flip back and forth between review and step=by-step approach
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It seems to me that every year I am told Turbo Tax will import the information from last years taxes to this years, and it does it some of the time, but not all of the time. This year in particular I had information stored on removable hard drive and it did not want to go there. I have always been able to make estimates of figures and then later go back with the actual figures or different forms needed. Not this year. Had to go in to the forms and delete. Don't think this year's experience was nearly as easy and painless as usual. However, I will be back!!! I've been Turbo Tax customer for at least 10 years and don't intend to ever go back to the days of sitting in some office hoping that person is smarter than me.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: could nto make changes easily once data entered

Thanks for making it simple.
What's great about it: I didn't have to do excessive math, just addition.
What's not so great: Can't see all the forms, at a glance. When I did my own taxes by hand, I had all the forms on my table within view.

Good product for a complicated procedure

Even though the tax codes and rules keep getting more complex and complicated, Turbo Tax continues to provide an easy solution to completing and filing my taxes. The reviews at the end give me confidence that my submission is correct.
What's great about it: I liked how it would walk me through each step.
What's not so great: Turbo Tax still charges too much for the state e-filing. They should find a way to reduce this price.

I used Turbo Tax last year and it didn't bring my taxes from 2012 like it said it would. It's fairly easy to use if your tax returns aren't too complicated and you keep pretty good records.
What's great about it: Relatively Easy
What's not so great: Didn't bring over 2012 like it says
