I have used Turbo tax for a lot of years now. I would have liked it more if there was a better explanation of some of the deductions allowed.
We have just started a business this year and I was glad to be able to do this with Home and Business from Turbo Tax.

TurboTax Home and Business covers EVERYTHING related to our federal and state return for our personal and business tax liability. I love how the interview is conducted ENTIRELY in plain English. Additional detail is always just a click away. (TurboTax almost makes me LIKE paying taxes!)
What's great about it: Comprehensive Home and Business coverage
What's not so great: None.

This works great for our personal and LLC needs. The thorough questioning takes a while to get through but for good reason.
I feel as though we have done our taxes correctly at the end.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years, as my tax returns have gradually become more complicated. I have consistently found it easy to use and accurate. Excellent product and well worth the price.

Always come out confident

I have used TurboTax for a long time. I have always finished up with confidence that I have answered everything to the best of my ability, and considered all of the 'what about' questions that the walk-through asked me. Sometimes even to look at what I might consider for the current calendar year.
What's great about it: I love the walk-through! No matter how many times I have used it, doing the walk-through, let's me catch everything.
What's not so great: No meditating and calming music.. :-)

Steep startup , but good results.

For a program that is written by the same company as Quicken, I am surprised at just how little you can import from quicken. I primarily bought this to import my decades of info from Quicken into TT. I have a ton of very custom reports that basically produce my Tax Returns in report form each year for my accountant. This year I decided to try TurboTax. I found the questions easy, and the organization good. There was nice ways to fix mistakes as you went. I only got about 50% of my data to import properly. Lots of issues with Schedule C Business data. I ended up entering most by hand. The result was good though. I got it all in, got through the miles of questions, and everything is filed. I hope next year goes smoother.
What's great about it: Lots of easy questions to answer.
What's not so great: Imports only about 50% of quicken stuff.

You need better QA

This is not the first time I've found bugs in your software - last time it cost me a lot of money. This time I was able to manually enter the donations (ItsDeductible import was broken#. I have absolutely zero confidence in the communities and don't understand the point of using them, If I wanted advice from non-experts I would just ask my friends. One of the two questions I posted this year got a half-answer from someone who obviously had never used the software #yet labeled a "turboxtax expert") - pointless. Please invest more in your quality assurance department - the public is counting on this to be accurate and your accuracy guarantee doesn't pay much.
What's great about it: friendly customer service
What's not so great: found another bug in the software
