I love this program, but the l
tax system is messed up when a teacher with a very small side business of cattle take hours and 58 pages of filing to file his taxes. Thank you for your help.
What's great about it: Walking me through the thing.
What's not so great: The length and forms

We sold a car and rep[laced it with newer one but found no place to add the vehicle.
Wer are still being asked about a business that closed 3 years ago and we no longer participate in.
We didn't get a chance to see about making a contribution to our IRA, even tho it said we would review that later.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: left a couple of holes

Turbo tax Home & business is a great way to save money. Especially if you are doing multiple filings. Best way to save money with the most updated information on tax laws!
What's great about it: I love the home and business desktop version, very accurate & informative.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Needs a few small improvements

I like TurboTax. I've used it for years. It keeps getting better.
I will say that there were a couple of things that I think need to be addressed. First of all is speed. I think that it should be able to calculate faster. I am running on a very fast machine and TurboTax can be sluggish.
Another problem. I ended up doing 2012's return in 2014 along with my 2013 return. There were a few problems at the end where TurboTax didn't or couldn't address something due to the date.
Lastly. A pretty specific problem. I had an instance in 2012 where I moved. The company ended up shutting down 2 months after the move. When doing the taxes it was hard to understand whether or not TurboTax was going to let me take into account that I met an exception for the "time test" as it pertains to deducting moving expenses. It was unclear. Maybe there should have been a question that asked me whether or not I met any of the exceptions. In this instance I met the exception because I was involuntarily separated from my job through no misconduct of my own. I had to research tax law to figure that one out. Turbotax asked at one point if "I expect to be employed for 39 weeks" or something like that. The fact that it was in the present tense made it ambiguous. Maybe look into that.
What's great about it: organized. gets better each year.
What's not so great: somewhat slow. needs to pay attention to current date for some things. needs to be more clear in some instances-pertaini
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
