very good! much better than a accountant
What's great about it: great directions
What's not so great: did not completely finish instructions to be finished

Next year I will choose a tax software wiht a Windows Phone App.
What's great about it: It got the basic tax job done

Excellent Guidance!

Overall, my tax filing experience was pleasant, easier and quicker than I expected to complete thanks to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It was easy to follow step-by-step instructions for deductions and credits.
What's not so great: I was left referred to IRS publications in some instances, which were not user friendly in the first place.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What happened to My return?

The information to complete my return could not be found. However, the form stated that the file was complete. Then, the form stated that the return was filed. Then when I reviewed the return, I found a section of the input screen that stated there were sections with errors that needed to be reviewed and corrected. I could not understand what the problems were or where I could find the information needed.
What's great about it: My initial information was entered easily.
What's not so great: When I reacded the end information from the previous tax year was required and I did not have it,

Great but you still have to be informed

The pros far outweigh the cons. This year, I had to file a W-2 for our nanny who only worked for us one month in 2013 but worked for us for several months in 2012. This year she didn't work long enough to require that we pay social security, but last year she did. The interview didn't make it clear that we would not have to pay this year. I had to figure that out myself.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Love the interview format.
What's not so great: Had the occasional glitch that caused me trouble
