The lack of a FED review of any items that were marked estimated caused considerable irritation and extra work when the STATE sw caught the estimated items. Because I then had to go back into the FED tax and look for the items which were tagged as estimated. But worse, I had to use the forms view to find the forms to fix.
What's not so great: no final review list of estimated items

USED H&rR BLOCK FOR YEARS. THEY GOT MORE COMPLICATED AND HARD TO FOLLOW. THIS IS SO MUCH MORE STRAIGHTFORWARD. I RETIRED THIS YEAR.

Filing out the forms is complicated. Especially when Partnerships make changes to their holdings
What's great about it: Somewhat helpful in filing out K-1
What's not so great: Need more steps and more explanation of terms. Need more help in filing out Section III

Makes tax filing less painful!

I have used Turbo tax for many years. At first I was a little confused with it as I had been doing my own taxes manually and had to get used to the ease of the program.
Now I am able to knock out a somewhat complicated tax return in hours not days.
What's great about it: Easy to use with flexability to see all the details or be guided.

Turbo Tax Home & Business 2014

Turbo Tax is a quality software for the layperson. Your taxes would have to be pretty convoluted if you couldn't do it yourself with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: This is well organized
What's not so great: This seems to be less user friendly (not as simple as previous editions)

Turbo Tax takes the stress out of filing taxes. Easy step by step process allows for maximized deductions. I love the Audit Defense (which by the way I have had to use and they ROCK!)
