Best Tax Prep product

Turbo Tax is wonderful I have been using it for years It guides you through everything and gets you all of the allowances that are legally possible. I always find something every year that I did not realize was deductible. I also like the audit it does checking for errors that show you what you have missed or have not correctly done. I would never use another tax program.
What's great about it: very easy friendly
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Using the tool now since inception the walk thru versus manual is good. As I changed I needed to grow up so you let me do that with the show me versus DIY.
I missed on some revenue in 2011 and so paid big fines this year and I don't know how to amend the state return before they catch that error. Not clear how to use this as a defensive tool.
What's great about it: Easy and intuitive
What's not so great: Getting more complex but that means more money back so not a con
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: All DIGITAL, 4 Hours Fast Completion!, Email & App ALERTS! COOL!
What's not so great: Hummmm what was it you were asking? Cons......NONE

Excellent tool for any user. Very easy to enter info into the system. Each step is explained nicely.
What's great about it: The program walks you through ever detail of the return. Very easy to follow.
What's not so great: None

PDF Nightmare

My computer crashed during the 2013 year, thinking that I saved my files to a backup drive I was safe! Nope, turbo tax claims it can import from its own PDF created from the year before, nope!

Generally I like Turbo Tax, but it definitely requires intelligence, especially when it comes to schedule C etc.
What's great about it: Mainly very nice guided, easy explain, preparred for almost any issue
What's not so great: Not so good for unusual, difficulties to go bak and delete item that was entered by mistake (K-1)

I/ve been a user o TurboTax for years - I have seen the variation year after year and the continue improvement makes
it easier to work with it and much more secure to keep
your information safe.

Overall good but TT asks the same questions several times in different sections. If you didn't know better you might be taking the same deduction or making the same payment twice.
