NOT User-friendly

Every year, I design my own worksheet based on the previous year's return: what I entered, when and every year, the order changes! This program does not provide a quick way to get to a certain part/page. Instead, you have to go through the same questions - every time and it is very frustrating!
Also- my Mac did not accept the disk. It kept spitting it out. We had to contact them to download it online. Why couldn't we do that to begin with?!!!!!

Tax with Ease

Have used Turbo Tax for six to seven years now. Every year, it gets better and better. I do believe this software helps me get the best refund possible!
What's great about it: Step by step, quick answers to anything you need to complete the process!
What's not so great: Would like a magic wand to complete it for me. Short of that - it's great!

confusing with inheritance of home

Overall I like Turbo Tax and have used it for years. But it seems there is always one spot that isn't questioned right and messes up the entire form...making me to ask for help.
this year was a nightmare with the home inheritance.

What's great about it: helps me threw it and also available live chat to help
What's not so great: very confusing on rental, inheritance of home, sale of second home.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Rocky Start, a lot of back and forth

Instead of going like it has in the past; such as income, business, deductions etcs.
It went business, deductions, income etc. Which created a lot of back and forth because I was lost and unsure what was what and if it was even in the right place. I've used this for over 5 years and this one I'm really, really worried about.

This program is very thorough in asking questions on every relevant topic. I've been using this for years and will continue in the future

Turbo Tax does everything that it says it will do. You can get the job done with no expertise in taxes.

Turbo Tax does a great job in getting my taxes completed quickly and accurately
What's great about it: downloads from financial institutions and employers
What's not so great: Need to add more partners for downloads
