I have used Turbo Tax for years and years. We have two rental properties, one is fully depreciated and the other not. Every year the worksheet shows the correct information, however on the Schedule E it always wants to use depreciation for both condos - which is an error. When I override, it continues to tell me I have an error - which is not true. Thus, because Turbo Tax thinks I have an error, it won't let me efile, which this year was a real pain. So I have to file and attach all the extras. I don't know how to correct this in the program, but I know that if I make the correction that it wants, I will be overstating the depreciation for the fully depreciated condo. If you know a correction for this, please let me know, because I have been having to do this override ever since the one condo is fully depreciated out. Thanks
second year that turbo tax was unable to e-file PA state returns. Rejected for address issue that was unable to be corrected. Still charged for e-file even though it was turbo taxes program that obviously caused the problem. Turbo tax also failed to move data from Ferderal to State forms. Everything had to be enttered manually! Second year in a row; not sure if i'll be back next year!
I have been using Turbo Tax for years. I am self employed and my taxes are a little complicated. This years return preparation was the smoothest I have experienced with Turbo Tax.
