Needs improvement in areas that are typically used

I'm not sure about all areas but in the sales tax portion, removing "major items" is impossible. I eventually had to delete the section and start over. It just continued to keep the entries I made that were in error, Each time I tried to delete and enter the correct information, it kept the old information and added that to the sales tax deduction. The only solution was to delete the entire section and start over. However it isn't obvious that it is screwing this up. I had to look close at the final number and determine that it was higher then it should be. Then investigate the actual form to find out what was wrong and that it couldn't be corrected.
What's great about it: relatively easy to use and seems to catch most areas
What's not so great: very difficult to make changes in some areas
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 12 years. I have never had an IRS problem or any difficulty with the returns I filed. I would not use anything else.
What's great about it: Was easy to imput data.
What's not so great: Seem to ask a lot of question that were unrelated to my return
Pros: I moved

1099-MISC INVALID EIN number problem
on March 8, 2014

I used this program to be able to email and I was not able because of a gliche in the program and I had to file hard copy because of one issue. The program could not recognize a 1099 MISC that it has been able to recognize in 6 previous filings. I was a little upset by that. because the EIN is valid
What's great about it: The program is fantastic in all previous years
What's not so great: I could not email because of 1099 EIN number
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've been using TurboTax for over a decade and plan to continue using it into the foreseeable future. During the 10 year period, I was audited only once by the IRS. I represented myself and the audit went smoothly. I have nothing but great things to say about Turbo Tax! :)
What's great about it: convenience, cost
What's not so great: Can't eFile Florida Return
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall great user experience! Would like to see a bit more error correction instruction on over lint numbers submitted into retirement contribution fields.
What's great about it: easy to use and intuitive
What's not so great: not enough error messaging on retirement contributions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Sometimes it is difficult to understand where certain data goes, such as HOA expenses. Sometimes the system ask for it and other times it was never mentioned.
What's great about it: ease of data entry
What's not so great: sometimes you have to guess where to put the info
