I've used Turbo Tax since 1997. I think it's priced too high but never had trouble with the program.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: too pricey
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

i could not get the federal return to electronically file. i even used all the solutions and it still didn't file. i am very disappointed, because i have used turbo for years and this is the first time it let me down.
What's great about it: i really like the ease of doing the forms.
What's not so great: i could not get the federal return to electronically file.

I've used Turbo Tax for about 6 years, it is so easy to understand, just answer the questions and your done. It does help to have all your information together when you start, that way you don't have to go back in and figure out where you need to put what. I use the home and business version for rental income and owning a business. If I can do it, anybody can!

Good program. Summary pages can be improved
What's great about it: step by step guidance
What's not so great: Complicated to modify certsain values You always have to go through the whole section
