Turbotax is just horrible

Turbotax can't efile because of rounding errors introduced by turbotax itself. The software roundtrips and ends up with -1 in various fields which then cause efile to fail.
Why am I paying for this junk?
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Everything

Turbo Tax Home & Business - 2013- dissappointed

There were a lot of glitches in the program this year. I had to delete and start all over again because of some ghost character or program glitch. I can tell by the online help I was one of many having the same issue. Very very disappointed I had to recreate my entire business return! I think perhaps next year I will find a new provider for my tax return.
What's great about it: Still pretty good at touching most of the important bases.
What's not so great: Could use a little more expansive explanation of deductions and so forth, especially in the business section.

2013 Turbo Tax

I've been filing my taxes with Turbo Tax for over 10 years and knock on wood have had no problems and never been audited (despite their yearly warnings I'm a medium to high risk for same). I file for home and business and their software affords all the possible deductions and expenses for both personal and business that can be imagined. I love that it imports the previous years information so you can compare numbers. Very pleased with all aspects including electronic filing, notifications and speed of refund.
What's great about it: Clear, step by step instructions. Very user friendly for new Turbo Tax users.
What's not so great: Old business no longer in operation. Continue to have to answer questions about it.

getting bad

Getting more & more difficult to navigate thru the system manually. I'v used turbo tax for many,many years. I may be changing next year.
What's great about it: you can complete a return
What's not so great: Earlier versions were much easier to go back, check, and change things

Filing Made Easy

The tax requirements each year get more and more complicated, Turbo Tax takes the fear of making a mistake through its presentation and examples.
What's great about it: Presented in understandable format
What's not so great: Nothing to speak of

I have used TurboTax for manyears now and I amvery happy with the ease and speed I can prepare my own taxes instead of taking them to someone I don't really know.
