tax filing for dummies

I've been using Turbo Tax for years! It is easy to use and very clear. I save on tax preparation and feel confident that everything has been addressed appropriately.
What's great about it: Easy to use
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

THIS IS AT LEAST MY 10TH YEAR OF USING TURBOTAX. iT GETS MORE COMPREHENSIVE AND EASIER TO USE EACH YEAR.

So easy and non stressfull

My pro services used always have me file extensions "because I was a little complicated" until I said I'm going to use turbo tax since "their so busy" surprise they could get me right in ! I never went back and have used Turbo Tax for year now ; no regrets ! Thanks.

TurboTax Can Be Simple and Thorough

Using TurboTax can still be time-consuming, but the process is thorough. The final result still depends on user input, but using it is usually easier than trying to figure out what all of the required forms are, and then filling them out by hand. I have used TurboTax to file my taxes for three out of the last four years, and I have been pleased with the results. I had to use a CPA last year because of a complicated stock sale, but I came back to TurboTax this year.
The only thing that I don't like is that every time I itemize an out-of-state purchase for use-tax purposes in the individual state section, I'm brought back to the top of the form. I then have to scroll all of the way down to the bottom if I want to enter another item. This can be really time-consuming! Even so, I'll use TurboTax whenever I can.

Love TurboTax

I wouldn't use any other tax prep software. TurboTax makes filing so easy! My personal and business returns are so easy to complete and understand each step of the way. Love the suggestions for extra tax deductions!
