Took some work

I took me a long time to get through. This was the first time I did my own taxes and I could not of done it without Turbo Tax
What's great about it: Lot of good questions
What's not so great: Explanation were not all clear

I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years now. It is a great product and easy to use. Each year I am amazed that I can get through it so simply.

Help in Time of Need

This year we are doing quite extra change on our Tax report as we move on from Sole Proprietorship into LLC (partnership) and I was not sure to begin with whether I should use Turbo Tax or use an accountant. Financial reason is what made us decided to use Turbo Tax help (rather than an accountant), PLUS the experience from previous years of how TT experts have always been helpful and well-knowledgeable on what we ask (and always nice to talk to).
You might think we're crazy and taking risk on doing so, but just like TT said "as long as we keep all receipts handy, be honest and don't be too greedy on getting deductions" and pay TT that extra "Audit Defense" - I think it's worth to do!

What's great about it: All is taken care from your computer desk at home
What's not so great: Takes hours even days to get hold of expert's helps

I have no farm

The bad overcomes the good this time. I've always appreciated Turbo Tax, but the farm thing has really got me upset.
What's great about it: It was quick and fairly easy to use.
What's not so great: It insisted that I have a farm and name it, etc. Couldn't fix that at all.

Been using this software since the mid-90s. Never had a problem, even filing for a business. It has always been easy to use and I am always confident that my return is accurate.
If you have an IQ, you should be able to use this software.

What's great about it: Consistently thorough and reliable.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Doing your own taxes makes you aware of all the possible deductions that you are eligible every year and all you need to do is keep the receipts. Love your software!

Best way to go

I like almost everything about this version, except the "Form View" option. In years past, it would automatically bring me to the current form associated with the step I was on.
I'd like that functionality back!
What's great about it: Import of data from Quicken
