I've used QB and TT for 18 years. QB is a great product for running my business and makes it a totally painless effort to import the pertinent information into TT to make tax preparation easy and simple.
What's great about it: Easy job with import from QuickBooks

As far as Taxes go...great experience!!

Overall a great experience. Two hours start to finish for all my tax info and ended with a refund (no doubt that colors my thinking a bit). Had a short bit of confusion with whether I had to file for my kids and with some student interest questions. Also, had an odd K-1 situation come up that wasn't easy to finesse but it was an odd situation anyway so I can't blame TurboTax for that. Other than that a very smooth experience. Thanks TurboTax!!
What's great about it: Easy to use and very complete. No situations that weren't covered.
What's not so great: Could use stronger K-1 Support and clearer child tax rules

Much less confusing that 2011 and 2012 years. Thank Goodness! Would love it better if the page would go directly to the "continue"/"done" window at the bottom of page vs. having to always scroll down to it...
Great program. After using this product for over 20 years, I refuse to change. And this year, y'all were a blessing cost wise.. Thank you Turbo Tax!

Dream come true

This was my first time e-filing and filing for my new business. I was very anxious about the process. A friend recommended I use TurboTax. I honestly was having nightmares about filing this year, but this software guided me straight through the whole process. I finished both my personal and business filings in 2 days. The step-by-step process told me exactly what I needed to have on hand to complete each step. I loved the explanations of each topic that you could click on to better understand what the IRS was looking for. Honestly, I could have completed everything faster if I was better prepared. This was the easiest and fastest tax filing experience of my life. Truly a DREAM COME TRUE. Thank you TurboTax.

I love Turbo Tax. I don't ever consider using another product for tax preparation or efiling.
What's great about it: Step-by-step walkthroughs and features lots of explanation and descriptions
What's not so great: Some explanation/descriptions are links to IRS site, which is not the easiest information to understand.

I'm new to using turbo tax and found this soft ware pretty helpful. They did a prety good job of explaing what the questions are asking and actually loooking for on the federal return. They could do much beter on the state return. I got asked for information I though I entered correctly but it seemed to want something else and didn't explain anywhere what it was really asking for and why.
What's great about it: The information windows were better written to explain and more of them.of them ans the
What's not so great: Wish they keept you clued in where your are on the form as you are filling in.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
