good but some UI nav issues

I've used TurboTax for a number of years, and every year they change it (supposedly to improve it#. This year, I upgraded to the Home and Business version. Generally no problems, but it's become harder to figure out what might be missed, or whether information was actually retained #since often the list screens won't show the info you added if it won't apply to this current return...i.e. disallowed like tuition costs), and in the case of an error, it told me about the error but didn't give me a way to get to that error...just told me to go fix it. Only problem there is the 'too simplified' interface that insists on walking you through every time, and you hunt around trying to find the screen that happened to contain the problem.
So I've taken TurboTax down from 5 to 3 stars because of the interface/navigation. If you make no errors, fine for you, but if you want to find something....my sympathies.
What's great about it: seems to cover everything
What's not so great: when it sees an error, it doesn't take me to it

Taxes almost fun!

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 5 years, and it get's easier every year. Never had a problem.
What's great about it: Easy and thorough
What's not so great: I would like to see an option for print & file.

Turbo Tax did a pretty good job of guiding me through my business and personal taxes. Taxes are complicated -- I wish they were simpler.

Most good, some issues

TTax software works well at the Fed level, however, not enough explanation support in state tax issues. Some of us are not computer nerds and it is work to chase down some of the how-to's or What-t-do's. I am an experienced tax preparer but really enjoy the computations being done in the softward. My issues are in the computer world, not in the tax side of the house. thanks.
What's great about it: Have used for years, most of the program worked well.
What's not so great: had problem eliminating a form that I introduced by mistake--finally went to forms and deleted form.

I'm BACK

I used Turbo tax for years and decided to try a cheaper software. They were eventually bought out by a well known tax preparation company. I stayed with that company for two years. Ready POOR phone support for their product.
Came back to Turbo Tax this year and will stay with Turbo Tax from now on!

RATING OF 4 STARS ONLY BECAUSE WHEN I MADE MISTAKES AND GOT TO THE REVIEW PORTION IT WAS SOMETIMES HARD TO FIND WHERE THE MISTAKE WAS AND HARD TO FIX IT. SOMETIMES I HAD TO MAKE THE SAME FIX TWO OR THREE TIMES. THAT WAS FRUSTRATING.
What's great about it: HELPS TO REMEMBER WHAT WAS DONE PREVIOUS YEAR
