One issue; otherwise very good

We have used Turbo Tax for many years and loved it. This year, a few things changed for us which caused some confusion. Because we moved from a state without state income tax (Texas) to one with state income tax (California) shortly after Jan. 1, 2014, we had to make sure that our income for 2013 was classified properly regarding where it was earned. Turbo Tax Deluxe did not give us a way to enter a separate business address for 1099-MISC income which shows on Schedule C. As a result, we had to upgrade to Turbo Tax Home & Business. I think there should be a method for entering a separate address for business income using Turbo Tax Deluxe. Other than that, I am satisfied with the product.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the guide
What's not so great: Some instructions could be more explicit

Frustrated

I have a service business and there is no place to put expenses for products I use to service customers. There's no place to put charity donations for my business. I have to put both in miscellaneous expenses. In error check they don't explain enough of what the problem is.
What's great about it: Like most things but I have the same trouble every year with Turbo Tax.
What's not so great: No place to put expenses to service customers. Or charity donations

This is my first time preparing our taxes, (husband has always done these in the past) so I know I was slower due to the learning curve.
I would like to see more division between what income/deductions are listed for which spouse. My husband started a small business in addition to his normal job, and has his own separate office on the house for the business.
I also have an separate office for my own business.
I know this may only happen once for us, but I found it hard to keep his regular, and new business income/deductions completely separate from my own business/deductions.
What's great about it: Refund Amount was Great
What's not so great: First time using this and it Took Longer than Expected
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Turbo Tax - Every year!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years. One time our taxes needed to be looked over by a tax attorney. She found NO mistakes. We've never had an issue with Turbo Tax and look forward to using it each year.
What's great about it: Easy to use and affordable
What's not so great: Can't really think of any cons

I like it but when i tried to use it again for this year's taxes, i cannot change the year. but so far it's easy to use and helpful for novices like me.
What's great about it: very detailed in getting all the info needed for refund or payment
What's not so great: Cannot change the filing year from previous to current year.

I have used Turbo Taxes for close to 20 years and what really makes it great I can do my own taxes with an eight grade education
Turbo is very easy and helpful in the step by step entries and keeps updates current!!!
I use it for all in our family each year and it saves$$ for all of us

Fix the Glitches

Really poor transfer path from 1099B Federal to PA State tax forms.
Glitch WRT tax exempt dividend in federal tax. Had to go to the community chat sessions to find a fix that I feel sure could have been fixed by Intuit last year.
What's great about it: Mainly up to par with previous Years
What's not so great: glitches related to 1099B's
Pros: I bought or sold investments
